NOMINATE CANDIDATES TO THE AAM BOARD

AAM is accepting nominations for directors of its North American board. Please email your nominations to aamboardsecretary@auditedmedia.com by 3 p.m. ET/2 p.m. CT on Friday, August 23.

 

Available Seats on the AAM Board

The following directors are up for reelection for a three-year term:

  • Sarah Hess, Informa Markets, representing business media
  • John Kenyon, Targeted Media Health, representing alternative delivery media
  • Gwen Maass, Rise, representing advertising agencies
  • Meghan Milkowki, Dow Jones Print Group, representing news media
  • Mark Yelic, Outdoor Group Media, Ltd., representing Canadian periodicals

How to Write a Nomination Letter

Both the nominator and seconder letters should be dated, appropriately addressed, signed and include the name, title, and company/publication name of the nominee and seconder. The body of the nomination letter can be as simple as:

I, <name>, <title>, <company/publication name>, hereby nominate <name>, <title>, <company/publication name> to represent the <U.S. newspaper/U.S. magazine/Canadian newspaper/etc. division> by <filling the vacancy caused by X> or <to run against X> on the Alliance for Audited Media board of directors.

The body of the seconding nomination letter can be as simple as:

I, <name>, <title>, <company/publication name>, hereby second the nomination, to have <name>, <title>, <company/publication name> represent the <U.S. newspaper/U.S. magazine/Canadian newspaper/etc. division> by <filling the vacancy caused by X> or <to run against X> on the Alliance for Audited Media board of directors.

 

CAST YOUR VOTE

On September 9, your company’s AAM member representative will receive an email with unique login credentials. This information will allow you to access the voting ballot and submit membership vote(s) for AAM’s director elections. Voting will close on Friday, September 27, at 1 p.m. ET/12 p.m. CT.
