How to Write a Nomination Letter
Both the nominator and seconder letters should be dated, addressed, signed and include the name, title, and company name of the nominee and seconder. The body of the nomination letter can be as simple as:
I, name, title, company name, hereby nominate name, title, company name to represent the news media/magazine/advertising agency/etc. division by filling the vacancy caused by X or to run against X on the Alliance for Audited Media board of directors.
The body of the seconding nomination letter can be as simple as:
I, name, title, company name, hereby second the nomination, to have name, title, company name represent the news media/magazine/advertising agency/etc. division by filling the vacancy caused by X or to run against X on the Alliance for Audited Media board of directors.
On September 8, your company’s AAM member representative will receive an email with unique login credentials to access the ballot and submit membership vote(s). Voting will close on Friday, September 26, at 1 p.m. ET/12 p.m. CT.
Board election results will be announced during AAM’s annual business meeting on Thursday, October 9, at 1:30 p.m. ET/12:30 p.m. CT. Register to save your seat.
